Our students are more than test scores. They're whole people who need support, safety, and a school board that sees them as our city's future, not as a burden on the community. I'm running to make sure every child in our district gets exactly that.
The Platform
What I'm Fighting For
Every student in Escondido deserves a school board member who shows up for them — not just at election time, but every single day to provide the educational resources they will need to succeed in school.
Academic Excellence
A diploma should open doors — not just mark time served. I'll push to modernize curriculum across every subject, close the resource gap between schools, and expand career and technical pathways so every Escondido graduate is ready for both college and a career.
Student Mental Health
One in five teens faces a serious mental health challenge — yet too many students still can't access the help they need at school. I'll fight to expand counseling staff and social workers at every district school site, and ensure real mental health resources are available on every campus, not just on paper.
Transparent Communication
Parents and community members deserve to know how their tax money is being spent. I'll promote the expansion of two-way communication between the district and our community to make sure the district is providing more curriculum and career options which will lead to the success of each and every student.
